BEDFORD—For the last nine weeks, Democratic State Senate candidate, Joe Kearns Goodwin has met one-on-one with dozens of residents in locally owned coffee shops throughout the Third Middlesex District. Last Saturday, Goodwin made the last stop on his district-wide “Grab a Cup o’ Joe with Joe” Tour at Bedford’s Carriage House Café, where town members came out to discuss the issues they hope he will address as state senator.
 
“After talking with residents of the nine cities and towns across our District, I’ve found the common thread in these conversations is that people have lost faith in government to affect positive change in our lives, and they want a leader who will fight for the needs of middle and working class families,” said Goodwin. "As state Senator, I will be an independent voice who will always put our communities first and stand up to leadership when necessary.”
 
Goodwin, who is running an aggressive grassroots campaign, said he plans to hear from more residents throughout the Third Middlesex District at their doorsteps and by phone in the lead up to election day on Thursday, September 6th.
