Michael is running to represent the Fourteenth Middlesex District which includes Concord, Carlisle, Acton (precincts 1, 2, and 6), and Chelmsford (precincts 1 and 9) as your State Representative. Michael is challenging incumbent Cory Atkins, a nice lady and a proud Progressive Democrat, who has been on Beacon Hill for 13 years.

Representative Atkins and the Democrat majority presided over policy that led to people fleeing Massachusetts and Massachusetts losing a Congressional seat, an important voice on Capitol Hill. Representative Atkins is infamous for sponsoring a personal income tax bill for Concord residents!  Mike Benn would not have sponsored this legislation as it is wrong for Concord and wrong for Massachusetts.

As the federal government transfers to the states additional responsibility we need Mike Benn on Beacon Hill.

Mike is a commonsense fiscal conservative, a businessman with 25 years’ experience in the private sector.  Mike is solutions-driven with a proven ability to build a consensus around tough problems. Mike is an independent voice that will fight for the people’s interests.

If the 14th Middlesex District is to thrive and enjoy a diverse population we must face hard decisions now! Our seniors are being forced out of their homes and our children are not coming back after graduation.... It is time to say ENOUGH, NO MORE to partisans, special interests, and the failed leadership on Beacon Hill. The previous three Democrat leaders have been indicted and convicted; one currently is serving a jail term.
