Zumba Teacher Backs Vacations for Special Needs Kids
On Friday, March 4, a Zumba dance and fitness teacher from Sudbury and Concord joined Maria Stephanos of Fox25 News at a breakfast for SMILE Mass, or Small Miracles in Life Exist, which is to give handicapped children and their families wonderful life experiences and memories by creating fully accessible vacation rentals throughout the United States, with the first project on Cape Cod.
In addition, SMILE Mass plans to provide 100 beach wheelchairs to various Cape Cod cities and towns. This will give immediate relief to any family who wishes to go to the beach with a disabled family member.
Because SMILE Mass is all about building memories and having fun, Maria then introduced Judy Quint of Zumba® with Judy. Guests were encouraged to get up and join Judy, some of her students and the SMILE Mass co-founders, Lotte Diomede and Susan Brown, to shake up the dance floor. For more information about Zumba® with Judy or to see the class schedule, please visit Judy’s website at

I started this Zumba class mid-December and I was addicted from the 1st class. Judy and this class have finally gotten me excited about working out after years of not doing much of anything. Judy is such a great instructor and so easy to follow. I love this class and I want to share the fun with others!!!! Lissa
