British Mourn of Arms Ceremony in Concord
Patriots' Day ceremonies took place at the Minute Man National Historical Park.
On a day hot enough to be the Fourth of July, countless number of people sat on the green feilds on both sides of the North Bridge at Minute Man National Historical Park to watch the reenactment of opening battle of the American Revolutionary War.
British reenactors conducted a "Mourn Arms" ceremony in honor of the British dead, buried at North Bridge. Following this, they were joined by the Acton Minutemen and other local companies for a special commemoration featuring musket salutes. See the photographs.
