Concord’s Social Media Saturday: Reader Highlights

You can share your opinion on anything you see here on Concord Patch too. Let us know what you think in the comment section of any article.

Patch readers have voiced their opinions on a variety of topics this week. Here's a look at some of the issues that got Concordians talking.

Readers were very passionate about sandwiches in Concord and they let us know about it! 418 total votes were registered in our poll. See what readers had to say and who they believed serves the best in town.

The conversation over gas prices continued with readers continuing to either condemn or defend the Obama administration.

We asked readers this week what they thought of the School Committee’s decision to delay the idea of bus outsourcing. Berni Jenkins and Jim Coutre both agreed with the decision with Jenkins writing, “Yes- delay the decision until everyone has their act together.” Coutre wrote, “The CCHS is already too expensive for tax payers residing here for years without any school children in decades, IMHO.”

On the subject of Concord selectmen agreeing to a Right of Entry for the Bruce Freeman Trail, Hilary Taylor wrote, “I sense a little progress here, keep it going please.” Paul Christiansen was more direct, saying, “Just build it already.”

Over on our Facebook page, the Concord Bookshop was nice enough to share a link to Frank Breen’s blog post.

When Concord Patch posted a picture of snow conditions around Monument Square, Audra Myerberg wrote, “Sure is pretty.”
