Democratic Town Committee to Meet Jan. 31
Concord's Democratic Town Committee will convene at the Main branch of the Public Library.
The following announcement comes from Janet Beyer on behalf of the Democratic Town Committee.
The Concord Democratic Town Committee will meet Tuesday, Jan. 31, at the Main branch of the Concord Free Public Library, in the downstairs meeting room. Gathering starts at 6:30 p.m., with the meeting beginning at 7 p.m.
The guest speaker will be Harmony Wu, supporter and commentator of the Occupy movement. Harmony is an organizer of the Occupy the 'Burbs effort to build a mainstream, grassroots movement to fight for economic justice. Harmony will talk about what Occupy has accomplished, where it is now, where it's going, and how to become involved.
The meeting will also discuss the upcoming caucus to elect delegates to the Massachusetts Democratic State Convention, June 2, in Springfield. This year's convention will select the nominees for United States Senate. The convention is an opportunity to make your voice heard, and meet and work with other Democrats. The caucus will be held Feb. 18, 1 p.m. at the Fowler Branch of the Concord Public Library in West Concord. All those who wish to run for delegate must be registered Democrats by Dec. 31, 2011.
Also on the agenda is a preliminary discussion regarding a possible endorsement of Elizabeth Warren for U.S. Senate, with a vote to be taken at our next meeting.
The Third Middlesex Democrats will have their annual Honorees Breakfast, April 28 at the Embassy Suites on Winter Street in Waltham. Each town in the senatorial district represented by Susan Fargo — Concord, Carlisle, Bedford, Lincoln, Sudbury, Lexington, Weston, Chelmsford, and Waltham — will honor a Democrat in their town who thinks outside the box.
The Concord Democratic Town Committee will have its annual party in June, date and time to be determined. For further information about the Democratic Town Committee contact committee chair Mara Dolan, maradolan@hotmail.com.

To My Flock,
"Harmony will talk about what Occupy has accomplished, where it is now, where it's going..."
It should be a very short speech. This will give Concord Democrats plenty of time to form a circle, sing Cumbaya, and plead for more taxes and spending.

Ya think Wu will be honest and tell the crowd the Occupoo thing was a big diversion away from OblameO's failed economy? The DNC called it off as it ran out of contol with kooks, bums, and wacos?
