Corporators represent the interests of the 25 communities served by Emerson Hospital. They become knowledgeable about the mission of Emerson Hospital and the services it provides through regular breakfast briefings, annual meetings and other activities. In turn, they communicate information about the hospital's programs and services to the residents and businesses in their communities. They also elect the hospital’s Board of Directors and Corporators at the hospital’s annual meeting.

“While we rely on our Corporators to act as ambassadors for the hospital, we hope that members of our community also engage directly with them to connect to Emerson,” added Christine Schuster, president and CEO of Emerson.
