Five Things: CHDC Accepting Small Grant Applicaitons and More

1. Concord Housing Development Corporation Accepting Small Grant Program Applications: The CHDC is now accepting applications for the first round of its Small Grant Program, designed to provide assistance to Concord residents to make repairs and alterations to their homes for safety and health reasons. Applications should be submitted by Thursday, Jan. 31 for consideration in this funding round and may be dropped off at the Planning Division offices on 141 Keyes Road.

2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for today include the Board of Assessors at 7 p.m. and the Zoning Board of Appeals at 7:30 p.m.

3. What is Montessori? From 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. this evening over in Sudbury, the Apple Valley Montessori School will host an introduction on how language is taught and learned within the unique environment of a Montessori school.

5. Sunny Day, Cloudy Night: Should be mostly sunny today, with a high of 39, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a cloudy night that eventually clears as overnight lows drop down to 12.
