Bill Montague, This informaton section has become a free advertize section. You always have Barefoot Books in things you "Need to Know today" . I do not need to know what Barefoot books is doing today! Or Dabblers either. You are "shooting your selves in the Foot" In my opinion! Bill Montague

Hi Bill,

I'll repeat most of my comment from yesterday, with one small explanation, which is to say that I will be putting together this column beginning next Monday so what I say below applies to Five Things posted beginning July 30.

Speaking as your new editor, I can tell you that this space will be a place where you can find information about the day's public meetings, local events, weather forecasts and sometimes also irreverent or historical tidbits. The hope is this column can serve as a dailiy reminder to locals about what's coming up and a snapshot to outsiders who might be checking in or visiting for the day.

If you have suggestions as to how we can improve this column and our coverage of Concord, please feel free to contact me at by email or by phone at 781-530-0029.
