Five Things You Need to Know: June 5
Voter registration at the Senior BBQ, bridge, Attias Group's Clothing Drive continues and a look towards a special weekend event.
Today's Weather: Staying cool with another 40 percent chance of showers, highs of just 59 according to the National Weather Service.
1. Encouraging Seniors and those eligible to vote; spread the word that CCHS is helping those turning 18 to register to vote in the upcoming presidential election and others. Takes place during the Senior BBQ starting at noon.
2. Weekly Bridge will be kicking off the week at 1 p.m. on 1276 Main Street (The Harvey Wheeler Center) for all those interested in a game.
3. The Attias Group's Clothing Drive for Women continues this week. Those with semi-used clothes who want to support women trying to re-enter the work place should drop their bundles off at 48 Thoreau St. during office hours.
4. Looking forward to the weekend, a special Community Supported Agriculture Farm Tour will be taking place Saturday morning at 9 a.m. at CCHS, 500 Walden St. Click here to learn more.
5. This Day in History: It was today in 1968 that Senator Robert Kennedy was shot (and died the next day) from the bullet of Sirhan Sirhan.

League of Women Voters registered 40 new voters today at CCHS Senior BBQ! Thank you CCHS,Class of 2012 parents, and soon-to-be graduates for welcoming LWV to the event. We enjoyed seeing so many young people eager to become voters. www.lwvcc.org
