Citizens Committee to Study School Transportation meets tonight. Plus four other things you need to know today in Concord.

 

1. Citizens Committee to Study School Transportation: It's meeting at 7 p.m. this evening at the Harvey Wheeler Community Center and the agenda includes the chair's report, citizen comments, committee member updates on areas of research and choosing possible dates for September meetings, among other items.

2. More Meetings: According to the town website, additional public meetings posted for today include the Concord Housing Authority at 7:30 a.m. at 34 Everett Street and the Historic Districts Commission at 7 p.m. at 141 Keyes Road.

3. Science Week at Dabblers: This week's theme at Dabblers' summer hobby and workshops programs is "Science Week." Check out a complete dailiy schedule at the West Concord shop's website.

4. Businesses, Claim Your Listings: Natick Patch editor Justin Saglio created this terrific video to walk local business owners through the five simple steps of claiming a business listing on Patch. Among the extra benefits available to those with claimed listings are checking stats on ratings and reviews, editing and adding info and managing their photos and other media.

5. Showers, Maybe: Isolated showers and thunderstorms again in the forcast, with a high near 88, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a partly cloudy evening with a low of 68.
