First day of school, CCHS Building Committee and more today in Concord.

 

1. Welcome Back! Today's the first day of the 2012-2013 school year for the students of the Concord Public Schools and Concord-Carlisle Regional High School. 

2. CCHS Building Committee: Meets at 6 p.m. this evening at Concord-Carlisle Regional High School, and its agenda includes correspondence, a recap from the Aug. 22 community forum recap and a discussion and vote to fund a bus depot study process. Also tonight, there could be more informatin following last week's meeting with the MSBA.

3. Other Public Meetings: Also meeting today, according to the town website, are the 2229 Main Street Committee and the Community Preservation Committee, both at 7:30 p.m.

4. How To Use Patch This School Year: With the start of the 2012-2013 school upon is now's the perfect time for a refresher on the many ways to use Patch this school year.

5. Expect Showers: Should be mostly cloudy today, with a chance of showers and/or thunderstorms late and a high of 76, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts more precipitation overnight and a low of 67.
