Looking for a place to bring the kids today? Try the Percy Rideout Playground in West Concord.
This modern playground is home to plenty of items sure to please the younger set. Additionally, the ground is lined with cedar chips, so falls to the ground won’t hurt as much, and sunburns can be largely avoided thanks to the amount of shade provided by tall trees surrounding the playground.
If your kids aren’t content with the playground itself and are looking for more athleticism, Percy has you covered. Beyond the playground you can find a baseball diamond, a basketball court and tennis courts. Families, meanwhile can pack a lunch and eat at the picnic tables.
Parking can be found off of Laws Brook Road, while a bike rack can be found to the side of the playground.
