Patch reader Rob Beyer sent along these photos of a large pine tree that some strong winds downed across Main Street near its intersection with Water Street in West Concord.

Beyer said the photos were taken at about 2:30 p.m. Shortly after 3 p.m., a Concord Police dispatcher told Patch that Concord Public Works was busy removing the tree from the roadway and four officers were diverting traffic as that work was being done.
