Police Log: A Coffee-Covered Car and Other Misadventures in Road Rage

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Wednesday, Oct. 3

1:27 a.m. – An unidentified person walked into the station to report an injured skunk on Main Street, by Route 2.

2:15 a.m. – A Bradford Street resident reported a loud truck in the area, traveling toward Maple Street. Police checked the area, but it was gone on arrival.

7:13 a.m. – A 911 caller reported a tree branch fell and struck her vehicle in the area of Lowell Road and Pond View Lane.

8:02 a.m. – A Carlisle woman reported a road rage incident that happened earlier in the morning after another vehicle failed to merge and cut her off in the Monument Square Rotary and then proceeded to drive aggressively down Lexington Road.

9:39 a.m. – An Acton resident called to report someone pour a cup of coffee on his vehicle while it was parked on Emerson Road, just off of Old Marlboro Road between 7 and 9:30 a.m. that morning.

11:24 a.m. – An Elm Street resident reported a suspicious white SUV had been driving back and forth in front of her home for the past few minutes. Police checked the area, but the vehicle in question was gone on arrival.

EDITOR'S NOTE: The above call, logged at 11:24 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3, was the last call logged for that day in the documents provided earlier this week by the Concord Police Department. We have followed up asking for the remainder of the day's calls and an explanation, and will post an update as soon as it's available.
