Police Log: A Delivery Stolen, Students Grilling at CCHS
The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Friday, Nov. 2
7:03 a.m. – A Strawberry Hill Road resident reported the possible past larceny of three UPS packages sometime between Tuesday, Oct. 30 and Thursday, Nov. 1.
8:21 a.m. – An abandoned 911 call came in from Peabody Middle School. Police confirmed with staff that it was accidental by a student.
8:22 a.m. – The Highway Department advised a utility pole, which appeared to be on private property, was hanging out into the street. Police attempted to contact the property owner and advised CMLP to investigate.
8:56 a.m. – A Concord woman reported a large black pickup passed her on Elm Street, heading toward the Route 2 rotary.
10 a.m. – A Lowell woman came into the station to turn in a debit card she found near Everett Gardens.
11:27 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Main Street and Hayes Road, A Fall River woman received a summons for operating a motor vehicle with her license suspended and possession of a Class B substance.
3:25 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident at the Rotary Exxon.
3:50 p.m. – A 911 call came in reporting the barricades on Derby Street should be removed as Verizon was done working in the area.
4:41 p.m. – An Alden Road resident reported her son advised that a person claiming to work for CMLP came to the door earlier to inquire about electricity, and now a chair, table and grill had been moved. Police contacted CMLP, who confirmed employees had been at that residence.
6:54 p.m. – An officer reported students in the CCHS parking lot possibly had a grill. Police confirmed students had a gas grill, and were just finishing up before heading into the game.
