Police Log: A Disabled Garbage Truck, a Domestic Arrest and Packages Missing
The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Friday, Feb. 8
12:27 a.m. – An officer radioed in to report checking on a vehicle with its interior light on parked by the 99 Restaurant. The vehicle checked secure, with the light left on out of apparent neglect.
1:54 a.m. – Police checked on a possible disabled garbage truck on Route 2 west, before Walden Street. There was a mechanic on scene who was repairing the vehicle, which was off the roadway.
10:07 a.m. – A Highway Department employee called in a parking complaint reporting a blue Suburban parked on Main Street in a position that hampered plowing operations.
12:34 p.m. – A hang-up call came in from a Deer Grass Lane residence. On the callback, a resident reported his adult daughter was yelling and screaming, but the incident was verbal only. As a result of the police response, Kirsten G. Studlien, 32, of 33 Deer Grass Lane, was arrested and charged with simple assault and battery.
4:05 p.m. – An Old Marlboro Road resident reported another package was stolen form her residence.
6:26 p.m. – An abandoned 911 call came in from Jonas Brown Circle. It was confirmed as accidental by the homeowner.
10:28 p.m. – An alarm company reported a residential alarm activation on Caterina Heights. The residence checked secure.
