Police Log: A Found Poodle and a Missing Maclaren
The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Friday, Aug. 24
12:53: a.m. – Police responded to an alarm activation on Macone Farm Lane, and the building checked secure.
1:23 a.m. – A 911 caller from Bedford Street reported a vehicle full of youths parked behind his residence. The responding officer reported the vehicle was gone on arrival.
6:53 a.m. – The groundskeeper at Concord Country Club reported overnight vandalism to the golf course.
8:42 a.m. – A Concord woman reported a motor vehicle parked in the employee lot at Citizens Bank on Main Street. According to the incident report, the vehicle belonged to a person working on a sign in the area and who would be moving it soon.
9:11 a.m. – A motorist on Old Road to Nine Acre Corner reported a silver sedan operating erratically before turning into Emerson Hospital. The responding officer reported the driver was a woman going to visit her husband.
10:07 a.m. – An Elsinore Street woman reported a black dog walks behind her house on a regular basis before being called back by its owner. The dog was not in the area at the time, she said.
10:51 a.m. – Police responded to a report of some tree removal trucks blocking the roadway on Williams Road, near the Old Marlboro Road end of the street.
12:38 p.m. – A Concord man reported picking up small white poodle with no tags was on Elm Street. According to the police report, the dog’s owner called looking for a dog that matched the given description.
2:38 p.m. – A Concord woman walked into the station with a wallet she found near Crosby’s Market.
5:19 p.m. – A cell caller reported a cable down in the area of Pine Street and Upland Road.
11:52 p.m. – A woman walked into the station to turn in a Maclaren double-wide, brown fabric stroller she found on Main Street. Police contacted the owner via information from Children’s Hospital that was left in the stroller.
