Police Log: A Goldendoodle Found and a Basketball Call

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Friday, Aug. 3

12:26 a.m. – An officer reported checking on an unsecured construction trailer along Elm Street that’s normally padlocked.

1:51 a.m. – An officer reported checking on a motor vehicle parked in the area of the skate park at Concord-Carlisle High School.

9:20 a.m. – Officers responded to Orchard House on Lexington Road for a report of a motor vehicle striking a pedestrian in the parking lot there. There were no injuries reported and no damage to the motor vehicle involved.

10:26 a.m. – A motorist reported a wrong-way driver heading toward the rotary on Route 2.

4:21 p.m. – A resident reported finding a Goldendoodle dog on Lexington Road, near the Concord Museum.

5:13 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a headstone vandalized at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.

8:07 p.m. – A caller reported a white Volvo speeding in Monument Square before heading outbound on Main Street.

8:15 p.m. – A Belknap Street resident reported youths playing basketball on Middle Street were being too loud.
