Police Log: A Lost Camera, a Found Dog and a Domestic Arrest

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Saturday, March 16

1:32 a.m. – An officer radioed in to report checking on a suspicious person walking in the area of Main Street and Old Stow Road. The man was reportedly walking home from a friend’s house in Acton.

11:53 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the Papa Razzi parking lot, A Gloucester man was cited for operating an uninsured/unregistered motor vehicle.

3:24 p.m. – A Main Street resident reported finding a Black Lab in her backyard.

3:52 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Monson Road and Bedford Street.

6:11 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Concord Turnpike and Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, an Acton man was cited for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and number plate violation.

7:14 p.m. – Police responded to a 911 call from Old Road to Nine Acre Corner to report a domestic in progress involving her husband, in which an argument allegedly escalated into physical violence. Stephen Ryan, of 840 Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, Apt. 2, was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery.

8:14 p.m. – A 911 call came in reporting two suspicious vehicles parked outside a Fairhaven Hill Road resident. The responding officer reported two people were there looking for a camera they had previously lost in the woods.
