Friday, March 15
7:55 a.m. – A Newbury Court resident requested to speak with an officer regarding a suspicious phone call in which the man was told he won $5 million but he would have to pay $1,666 to receive it. The man was advised it was a scam.
10:39 a.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Commonwealth Avenue in West Concord.
1:25 p.m. – A 911 misdial came in from Sanborn Middle School, which was confirmed as accidental by a student.
1:34 p.m. – A 911 call came in reporting a limping deer seen in the area of Lawsbrook and Crabtree roads. The deer was reportedly with a few other deer. Animal control was notified and said, since the deer was getting around and eating, there was no reason to respond.
2:59 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Main Street and Keyes Road, David Brian Bunner, 53, of 24 Trinity Ave., Worcester, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor.
3:03 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Main Street and Academy Lane, a Dracut woman was cited for operating without a license.
3:31 p.m. – Police responded to a report of shoplifting in progress at the CVS on Sudbury Road. The responding officer reported the women in question were acting suspiciously in the store.
5:52 p.m. – Bedford Police called to advise of a possible domestic in progress inside a green pickup heading into Concord. The vehicle was stopped near Crosby’s Corner by Concord and Lincoln Police officers and Bedford transferred a 911 call in which a woman following the vehicle reported witnessing the male driver hitting and pulling the hair of female passenger. Justin Michael Bradford, of 115 S. Whipple Road, Lowell, was arrested on a courtesy booking for Bedford.
9:23 p.m. – Police responded to a reported burglar alarm on Concord Convenience. The building checked secure, according to the incident report.
