Police Log: Abandoned Scooter; Public Disturbance; Vandalism; OUI Arrests
The Concord Police Department supplied the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.
The following incidents were documented in the Concord Police logs.
Abandoned Scooter
At 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15, police received a call from Main Street Mobil, reporting a motorcycle with no license plates dropped off at the station some time overnight. Police responded and observed a Tomberlin Electric Scooter. Personnel at the station did not know if the scooter was there for repairs or had been abandoned. Police attempted to identify the owner of the scooter through the RMV, but were unsuccessful. The scooter's manufacturing company in Georgia was contacted in an attempt to obtain owner information. The company said they would call Concord Police if they could find the requested information.
Public Disturbance
At approximately 2 p.m. on Thursday, police received a call from an individual stating she was confronted by another party while walking downtown, who began yelling at her, calling her a "crazy [expletive]," and stating that she owed her money. The reporting party stepped into a store to get away from the other individual, and explained their two dogs had engaged in a fight early in the year. According to one individual, no money was owed to either party, while the other believed she was owned money for a resulting veterinarian bill. Both parties were advised to handle the matter through the court and to stay away from each other.
Theft From CCHS
At approximately 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, police received a call from a Concord Carlisle Regional High School student stating a pair of brown leather boots had been stolen from the girls locker room.
OUI Arrests
At 1:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 16, police initiated a motor vehicle stop on Concord Turnpike at Walden Street, resulting in the arrest of Genevieve Kallos, 33, of Stow, for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a vehicle, and failure to stop/yield.
Just before 2 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17, police initiated a stop on Concord Turnpike at Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, resulting in the arrest of Miguel Eduardo Salguero, 25, of Marlboro, for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol (second offense), operating a vehicle with a suspended license, marked lanes violations, and speeding in violation of a special regulation. The passenger in the vehicle, Ana Carolina Santos, 27, of Marlboro, was also arrested on an outstanding warrant from another department.
Vandalism
At approximately 6 a.m. on Friday, police received reports of vandalism near the intersection of Oak Hill Circle and Shagbark Road. Police responded to the area and observed damaged mailboxes and Christmas decorations on Oak Hill Circle, Shagbark Road, and Sorrel Road.
Around 3 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 18, police received a similar report of vandalized decorations on Virginia Road.
