Police Log: Alleged Attempt to Videotape in ER Ends in Arrest

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Tuesday, Nov. 6

10:13 a.m. – A Pine Street resident called to complain about a Mini Cooper blocking his driveway. The vehicle’s owner moved it prior to the police arrival.

11:43 a.m. – A 911 hangup came in from Peabody School, and then the school called to report it was accidental by a student.

11:48 a.m. – A Monument Street resident reported two loose dogs running on Monument Street. 

1:28 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a diamond bracelet stolen from a Newbury Court resident. The woman who reported the bracelet missing later found the piece.

2:20 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 2 West near Walden Street, a Lexington man was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

3:10 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a minor two-vehicle collision in Monument Square, by Main Street. Officers responded to the scene, but were unable to locate the vehicles involved.

3:50 p.m. – A Shagbark Road resident reported finding a knife in the grass on Laws Brook Road. Police took possession of it.

5:39 p.m. – Sudbury Police reported a suspicious man dressed in black was walking in the middle of Route 117, by the Sudbury line.

7:10 p.m. – A nurse at Emerson Hospital’s emergency room requested assistance with a man who was allegedly attempting to videotape. William David Langton, 62, of 9 Baker Farm Road, Lincoln, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, trespassing and simple resisting arrest.

8:55 p.m. – An officer reported finding a ring near the doorway during polling on Keyes Road.

9:03 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a silver hatchback operating erratically on Lowell Road toward Main Street.
