Police Log: Alleged Dangerous Driving, a Suspicious Private Eye

Thursday, Feb. 28
7:39 a.m. – A Lowell Road resident reported a dead deer on the sidewalk on Lowell Road outside Concord Center.
12:34 p.m. – A 911 misdial came in from Border Road; police confirmed there was no issues.
1:26 p.m. – Police responded to an alarm activation at Peter Bulkeley Terrace, which was set off accidentally by a workman.
3:18 p.m. – An Acton woman called 911 to report a sick raccoon on Strawberry Hill Road, by the Nashoba Brooks School.
4:26 p.m. – A Bradford Street resident called to complain about a BMW cutting her off in a crosswalk on Commonwealth Avenue.
8:03 p.m. – An Acton man reported a motor vehicle almost struck him while he was standing on Commonwealth Avenue near the Ninety Nine Restaurant.
8:27 p.m. – A Westvale Drive resident reported a man walked to her front door identifying himself as a private investigator looking for a man about whom she claimed to have no knowledge.
9:20 p.m. – Police responded to Monument Street following a resident’s request for assistance removing his ex-wife from the home. The man called back to say she was leaving and no assistance would be needed; police confirmed this report and attempted to speak with the ex-wife at her residence.
