Police Log: An Armored Car Swerves Through West Concord (Allegedly)

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Wednesday, Aug. 15

12:52 p.m. – An officer radioed in to report checking out a suspicious motor vehicle found parked behind Twin Seafood in West Concord.

4:11 a.m. – A patient at Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation on Main Street called 911 to request assistance because staff was reportedly withholding his medication. A nurse on the scene reported the caller is a new dementia patient and there was no emergency.

9:49 a.m. – A caller reported an armored truck was swerving back and forth erratically on Route 62 in West Concord.

2:15 p.m. – A Wellesley man reported his vehicle was struck by a passing car while parked at the corner of Walden Street and the entrance to the municipal lot.

 3:43 p.m. – A man came into the station to drop off a teal women’s wallet he found on Route 2.

5 p.m. – A 911 caller reported a suspicious man standing by a pickup truck at Thoreau School. According to the responding officer, the man was a contractor there to meet with maintenance for concrete work before school starts.

8:12 p.m. – An Annursnac Hill Road resident reported going out to his deck and finding a male and female standing near his vehicle, who both walked away and up the street.

 11:08 p.m. – Multiple calls came in reporting power outages in the areas of Garland, Hosmer, Simon Willard, College and Straweberry Hill roads.
