Police Log: An Out-of-Control Patient, Accidents and a Stray Dog
The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Monday, Oct. 22
4:51 a.m. – Emerson Hospital’s emergency room staff reported an out-of-control patient attempting to leave the premises.
6:35 a.m. – A 911 caller reported a dead deer in the middle of Westford Road. Police located the carcass and pulled it off to the side of the road.
7:52 p.m. – Police received a report of a disabled motor vehicle in on Route 2 east, near Emerson. State Police were advised and planned to handle.
1:12 p.m. – A Concord man walked into the station to report credit card fraud.
2:11 p.m. – A South Meadow Ridge resident reported sending a check to a fraudulent company.
3:22 p.m. – Police responded to a hit-and-run accident on Lowell Road, just after the Colonial Inn.
4:24 p.m. – A passing motorist reported a disabled motor vehicle on Route 2 east, in between Route 126 and Sandy Pond Road.
4:26 p.m. – A 911 caller reported a minor motor vehicle accident on Monument Street near the Fenn School.
5:02 p.m. – A Chelmsford woman called to complain about a pickup truck that pulled out of the Route 2 Mobil on Cambridge Turnpike and cross over to the other lane, cutting her off in the process.
6:23 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a stray golden retriever in the vicinity of Sanborn Middle School. Police cleared when the dog was in the custody of its owner.
