Police Log: Gaslamp Vandalism, Accidents and a Missing Medicare Card
The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Wednesday, Feb. 6
7:24 a.m. – Multiple 911 calls came in reporting a two-car collision near Orchard House on Lexington Road. Two wreckers were requested to the scene and one female patient was transported to Emerson Hospital.
9:43 a.m. – An Elsinore Street resident reported losing her Medicare card the previous Saturday near the CVS Pharmacy on Sudbury Road.
10:18 a.m. – A Hunters Ridge Road resident reported vandalism to a gas lamp post next to her driveway, which she said occurred the previous Saturday.
11:13 a.m. – Police responded to a report of an inured red tail hawk on Laws Brook Road.
12:31 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a tan SUV speeding on Main Street toward Monument Square. Officers checked the area, but the vehicle was gone on arrival.
5:14 p.m. – A passing motorist reported a car with heavy front-end damage was parked on Pond View Lane, near Lowell Road. According to the incident report, the damage was done in a past accident at the Rotary, where the vehicle’s occupant reportedly exchanged information with the other driver and attempted to drive home.
5:18 p.m. – A Billerica man reported his car was struck sometime in the past six hours while he was parked near Labor and Delivery at Emerson Hospital.
11:39 p.m. – Police responded to a burglar alarm activation at Artinian Jewelers on Main Street. The building checked secure, according to the incident report.
