Wednesday, Jan. 9

12:52 a.m. – An officer radioed in to report checking on a vehicle parked in the area of Old Road to Nine Acre Corner and Williams Road. According to the incident report, the vehicle’s owner, a Concord man, was walking his dog in a nearby park.

9:16 a.m. – A 911 call came in reporting a student with a possible leg injury in the CCHS driveway after being struck by a motor vehicle. Emergency responders initially obtained a patient refusal, but later returned to the Beede Center after the woman began complaining about back pain.

2:32 p.m. – Staff from Newbury Court reported a past hit-and-run accident around the traffic circle at the front entrance to one of the buildings there.

3:12 p.m. – A staff member from the Beede Center reported a past hit-and-run accident to her vehicle, which had been parked in the lot. Police later located the woman who was reportedly driving the other vehicle involved.

3:50 p.m. – A Concord woman called to complain about a black pickup truck that reportedly cut her off as she exited a Sudbury Road parking lot near Concord Crossing.

6:21 p.m. – Police responded to possible suspicious activity at Newbury Court involving an open door to a suite occupied by a resident who had been away for a few days. The owner’s daughter checked the apartment and reported nothing missing; it appeared the open door could have been due to a malfunctioning lock, the incident report said.
