Police Log: Lost Dogs, Shoplifting and Alleged Tailgating
The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Wednesday, Aug. 1
8:37 a.m. – A parking complaint regarding a dump truck in a bad spot came in from Mattison Drive.
9:02 a.m. – Police responded to reported shoplifting at Nine Acre Convenience Store and arrested two teens with shoplifting by asportation. Andrei St. Clair Hardy, 17, of 60 Miles, Rutland, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation and receiving stolen property valued over $250, and Brandon Selsing, 17, of 173 Concord Road, Lincoln, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation.
11:16 a.m. – An email came into the station reporting a loose-running Border Collie in the area of the Hayes Pump on Old Powder Mill Road.
12:25 p.m. – A disabled motor vehicle was reported in the area of Lowell and Barretts Mill roads.
4:18 p.m. – A caller reported her bicycle was taken from the bike rack at the Emerson Umbrella for the Arts. However, the call was cancelled after the reporting party remembered her mother gave her a ride to the studio that morning.
4:58 p.m. – A Fairhaven Road resident reported that a woman in a white Toyta SUV allegedly exited Route 2 at a high rate of speed and tailgated her on Sudbury Road.
7:15 p.m. – A Main Street resident called to report his dog had been missing since about 4 p.m.
