Police Log: Lost Jewlery, Issues Over Ice and a Gas Station Sleepover

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Wednesday, Jan. 23

1:11 a.m. – An officer radioed in to report checking on a subject inside the Concord Mobil on Sudbury Road. The man was an employee spending the night there after failing to get a ride home, the incident report said.

9:41 a.m. – A parking complaint came in reporting a silver Jetta blocking the walkway on Cottage Lane. There was no violation as the vehicle was actually parked legally, the incident report said.

10:34 a.m. – Police responded to a reported minor motor vehicle accident in which a woman “bumped” the vehicle in front her when parking at a lot on Baker Avenue.

12:34 p.m. – A disabled motor vehicle was reported on Walden Street, near Route 2. The vehicle’s driver, a Fitchburg woman, was cited for operating with a suspended license.

12:48 p.m. – A Lincoln woman walked into the station with a Medicare card she found.

2 p.m. – A Concord woman reported losing her $1,000 half-gold, half-pearl bracelet somewhere in Concord Center the previous day.

3:26 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a black BMW speeding on Riverside Avenue.

4:27 p.m. – A Concord man walked into the station to report false charges made on his credit card.

8:10 p.m. – A Woburn man was removed from Valley Sports without incident after becoming upset with rink management about not cleaning the ice.
