Police Log: Lost Keys, Large Dogs and a Low-Flying Plane
The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Friday, Sept. 21
5 a.m. – American Alarm reported a rear door alarm at Verrill Farm’s farmstand on Wheeler Road. The responding officer reported speaking with a deliveryman who had just dropped off some bread.
9:15 a.m. – A Williams Road resident reported his daughter lost a key with a brown sticker with the word “Sanborn” written on it. The key was reportedly lost at an unknown location sometime over the previous four days.
12:42 p.m. – An Elsinore Street resident called 911 to report a large black dog standing outside her home. The woman said she was uncomfortable with the dog.
1:04 p.m. – Police responded to a complaint about a vehicle parked on the sidewalk at Main and Brown streets, creating a hazard for pedestrians in the area. The vehicle was moved.
1:52 p.m. – A Brighton man reported losing his black diaper bag somewhere along Commonwealth Avenue in West Concord.
6:35 p.m. – A lieutenant from MCI Concord called to report a low-flying ultra light plane was flying 100 yard above the prison, possibly taking off from the nearby field along Route 2. Police checked the area, but could not locate the plane or its operator.
6:40 p.m. – A Concord woman reported an erratic operator in the area of Keyes and Lowell roads.
9:47 p.m. – A Lowell Road resident reported her daughter lost her iPhone and pink rhinestone case earlier in the evening at Concord-Carlisle High School.
11:36 p.m. – A Maynard man reported losing a set of keys in the area of Commonwealth Avenue and Main Street.
