Police Log: Lost Wallets, Lost Toys and a 'Loud Group' at White Pond

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Monday, Aug. 6

9:31 a.m. – A Concord woman reported her wallet may have been stolen from the Beede Center’s front desk sometime overnight.

9:34 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of the Dunkin’ Donuts at Thoreau Street and Sudbury Road. There was no personal injury reported and both vehicles were off to the side of the roadway, the incident report said.

12:51 p.m. – A Concord Provisions employee called to speak with an officer regarding past instances of suspicious activity and a person disputing charges.

2:47 p.m. – A caller from Concord Turnpike reported having a stray dog at her house.

6:43 p.m. – Police responded to a report of an alarm system sounding inside the Town House.  The cause was an apparent malfunction in the system, so the trouble system was silenced and the alarm company notified.

6:52 p.m. – A woman reportedly found a wallet and set of car keys in front of the Toy Shop on Walden Street and turned them over to a police officer.

Tuesday, Aug. 7

2:13 p.m. – A 911 call reported a motor vehicle accident on Oak Hill Circle. An involved motorist was issued a citation for failure to keep right.

4:29 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Harrington Avenue, an Acton resident received a summons for marked lanes violation and operating without a license.

5:18 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a branch in the roadway on Old Bedford Road, just before the Bedford line. The branch was moved off of the roadway and a note left for the Highway Division to remove it in the morning, the incident report said.

5:58 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Baker Avenue, a Woburn woman was summonsed for operating and unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle.

9:01 p.m. – Police responded to a report of children’s clothing and toys left at the top of the hill at the Old Burying Ground at Monument Square.

10:45 p.m. – A Shore Drive resident called to complain about a loud group at the White Pond Association Beach.
