Police Log: Railroad Crossing Strikes Car, Woman Picks Through Teacakes' Trash

Thursday, Aug. 30
6:41 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Concord Turnpike and Walden Street, a Malden man was summonsed for no inspection sticker, operating a motor vehicle with suspended/revoked registration and uninsured motor vehicle.
7:47 a.m. – Police responded to a reported alarm activation on Monument Street that was apparently set off by a housekeeper who did not have the proper code.
9:26 a.m. – A Concord man called from his workplace in Cambridge to report his wife told him about a sick coyote in their backyard on Commonwealth Avenue.
12:08 p.m. – The railroad crossing gate at Comm Ave and Church Street came down and struck a motor vehicle. Speaking with the responding officer, the train conductor reported the vehicle operator was not at fault.
3:43 p.m. – Police received a call from Concord Teacakes reporting a transient woman was in the dumpster, eating garbage.
8:09 p.m. – A Ministerial Drive resident reported receiving harassing phone calls.
