Police Log: Roadkill Reported and Allegedly Loud Canoers

Monday, Sept. 3
3:09 a.m. – Lexington Alarm reported an alarm activation at the Fowler Branch library on Main Street in West Concord.
7:28 a.m. – A passing motorist reported a large, dead beaver in the roadway in the area of Main Street and Pond Lane.
9:51 a.m. – Police responded to a burglary alarm activation on Revolutionary Road.
12:24 p.m. – A Concord man called to report finding a wallet that belonged to another Concord resident.
12:24 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a large number of teenaged boys being disruptive while getting into a canoe at the Lowell Road boat ramp. The responding officer reported the area was quiet, and the teens were on a college trip out from MIT.
6:30 p.m. – A caller from the Colonial Inn reported her vehicle was struck while parked in Monument Square.
7:54 p.m. – A Main Street resident called to complain about a dog outside barking for the past hour in the area of Main and Winslow streets.
8:38 p.m. – A 911 caller from Lexington Road reported her elderly mother had fallen down at her Sudbury Home. Sudbury Fire Department was advised and planned to send an ambulance.
