Police Log: Suspicous Vehicles, Accidents and Reported Gunshots
The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Wednesday, Nov. 28
12:25 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle found outside Verrill Farm on Wheeler Road. According ot the incident report, the vehicle checked OK.
8:26 a.m. – The school transportation department reported a multiple-car accident without personal injuries in the area of Route 2 and Walden Street. The disabled vehicle was pushed off the roadway, the incident report said.
12:21 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Church and Highland streets. Police reported it was a single-car accident at the Fowler Branch Library.
1:03 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Lexington Road and Monument Square, Patricia A. O’Malley, 40, of 181 Belmont St., Worcester, was summonsed for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and uninsured motor vehicle.
4:05 p.m. – Multiple calls came in reporting a tow truck struck a dog on Lowell Street. The animal was reportedly dead on arrival and its owner, who was reportedly out of state until later in the week, was notified via telephone.
4:35 p.m. – A Barrett’s Mill Road resident reported hearing gun shots in the area of Corey Field. The caller was notified that hunters could use shotguns until 30 minutes after sunset, and then police checked the area and all was quiet at the time, the incident report said.
9:32 p.m. – A Crabtree Road resident reported a loose-running dog in the area of Sudbury Road by Fairhaven Road. The responding officer reported he was unable to locate the animal.
10:05 p.m. – A Belmont woman walked into the station requesting to discuss information involving a Concord resident who was a patient of hers.
