Police Log: Vandalism; OUI Arrest; Missing Street Signs
The Concord Police Department supplied the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.
The following incidents were documented in the Concord Police logs.
"Jerk"
Just after 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31, police received a call from a house sitter on Blueberry Lane, reporting the work "Jerk" written on the garage door. The home owner was contacted via cell phone and notified. She then attempted to contact her children to find out if they had any information on the vandalism.
Warrant Arrest
At approximately 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, police initiated a motor vehicle stop on Main Street resulting a summons issued to the driver of the vehicle for unlicensed operation, uninsured vehicle, and driving with a suspended/revoked registration. The passenger of the car, James Kelly Akers, 29, of Maynard, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Missing Signs
Starting at approximately 4:15 p.m. on Saturday and continuing throughout the afternoon, police received reports from the Concord Highway Department stating street signs were missing from Butternut Circle, Holdenwood Road, Seven Star Lane, The Valley Road, Tanglewood Drive, Nut Meadow Crossing, Rollingwood Lane, Damon Street, and Martin Road.
OUI Arrest
Just before 1 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 1, police initiated a motor vehicle stop on Concord Turnpike at Fairhaven Road, resulting in the arrest of Gregory N. Robins, 25, of Westford, for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, marked lanes violations, and following too closely.
