In another close contest, readers named Main Streets Market and Café the best place to spend St. Patrick’s Day in Concord.
With polls closing today at 9 a.m., Main Streets Market inched out the Ninety Nine Restaurant and Pub in West Concord by one vote.
A recent favorite of locals on St. Paddy’s Day, Main Streets Market will feature a live performance from folk/rock group Bare Hill on Saturday night.
Also receiving votes in our poll were Concord’s Colonial Inn and Waxy O’Connors in Lexington. Of Waxy’s, reader Kerry Fogler wrote, “Great food and drinks, waitstaff is great! Local Irish pub--what more can you want!"
