Less than five miles from Concord is a charming little restaurant called Sprigs.  Located on the quaintly named Strawberry Hill Road in Acton, Sprigs is an inviting spot as a mainstay for dinner out with friends or a special occasion.  The restaurant is in a Cape farmhouse and has a welcoming New England ambiance – including exposed brick and romantic nooks.

The attraction at Sprigs is a lively and well-constructed menu of European-styled dishes with a flair, plus a touch of international fare making subtle appearances on the menu.  Sprigs has an extensive and thoughtfully considered wine list for which they’ve received a Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence. 

The menu offers a delicious selection of starters and expertly executed salads, and the main courses have plenty of variety and originality. The menu also includes a small assortment of tempting side dishes. The presentation is stylish and confident without being overtly fussy.  The portion sizes are ample enough that you will be willing to share a bite (no doubt you will be ogling your dining companions’ meals with more than a passing interest).  If you’re still hungry (or not), desserts will satisfy chocolate- or fruit-minded patrons.
