Week in Review: First Day of School, Fall Sports Previews, and Sept. 11 Memorials
A look back at this week's top headlines.
The long Labor Day Weekend kicked off this, the unofficial beginning of the fall season. Despite rain for much of the week, there was still a lot going on around town.
On Sunday, Sept. 4, we reported on an accident at the Rte.2 rotary in Concord, in which a motorcyclist was pinned underneath an SUV. The motorcyclist only sustained minor injuries thanks to a number of individuals who stopped and lifted the vehicle off the downed motorcyclist.
This past week marked the beginning of the 2011-2012 school year here in Concord. Students returned to classes on Tuesday, Sept. 6, and parents from around town sent us pictures of their kids heading back to school. Click here to see our back to school slideshow.
We've been taking a look at the fall lineups on the various Concord-Carlisle Patriots teams. So far, we've caught up with the golf team, soccer teams, football team, volleyball team, and field hockey team.
