Apologies on the late posting - my palapa hut has spotty internet service!
Fall RTW 2013 Collections were happening this week in New York, once the snow drifts were trucked out. Highlights include gorgeous coats, leather, and color - Yes, COLOR in Fall Collections - COOL!!!!! Catch phrases included glamor, sophisticated, cool, luxurious. reversecommuter is looking forward to working those elements into a fall wardrobe - such as this leather gorgeousness from Marc Jacobs!
Oscar de la Renta sent out a robin's egg blue coat that was beyond drool worthiness. Of course it was designed by John Galliano, formerly of Dior, hopefully fully cured of his anti-Semetic slurs. Ideally he can offer up sensational designs and keep his bigotry to himself.
The much anticipated return of Galliano's clothes to the runway brought an impressive who's who including Mario Testino, Barry Diller & wife Diane von Furstenberg and Valentino - WOAH!
Lot's and Lot's and Lot's of orange boxes must have been dolled out over the holidays - Hermes announced their quarterly numbers were up 22.5%! Viva the orange!
Have a wondrous weekend filled with atleast one delirious outfit and a glass of champs!
