The other day my son asked me why people are so plain in the winter.

Out of the mouths of babes or what? People are plain in the winter - too much black, grey and brown is worn in the winter, not a lot of smiling while plodding through the slush & snow, and without the vitamin D of sunshine there is a certain mood factor. Clearly everything winter is way too serious!

Repeat after me "I will not be plain in the winter!"
