Antique Evaluation Presentation - May
15th
Do you wonder whether or not your family favorite has
monetary value? Join the
Women's Parish Association at First Parish in
Concord for an interesting event on Tuesday evening, May 15th
at 7:00 P.M. at which our ministerial intern, Craig Nowak, will give an
evaluation/educational presentation about various antiques owned by Concord folks. Among his many talents, Craig
is an antiques expert in many areas. Craig does not evaluate
stamps, coins, jewelry, firearms or weapons. Desserts, coffee and tea will be
served. Entrance fee is five dollars. Reservations are required. Contact the
church office at 978-369-9602 by May 13th for reservations. Even if you
don't have Craig evaluating an item , this event will be a great educational
experience to start your thinking about some of the treasures in your household
that you may want to give to family members or charities or sell and be sure
that you are asking the right price. Location:
Parish Hall, First Parish in Concord, 20 Lexington Road, Concord,
MA.

More About First Parish in Concord
Led by Senior Interim Minister Elaine Beth Peresluha, this Unitarian Universalist church meets every Sunday at 9am and 11am.
Unitarian Universalism believes the final authority of religion comes from yourself, not a book or a specific person. Each congregation is self-governing.
Children from two months to sixth grade are offered religious education classes. Middle and high school students can join Young Religious Unitarian Universalists, the parish youth group. The group meets every Sunday evening and participates in retreats. The group does everything from discussing everyday issues to playing worship games.
