Artist Visit and Craft Fun with Sophie Fatus at Barefoot Books

Visiting French artist & Barefoot illustrator, Sophie Fatus, joins us in the Studio to tell tales of bringing her wonderful Story Tree illustrations to (10' tall!) 3-D life in this year's Holiday Trees exhibit at the Concord Museum. What's more, she'll read from many of her wonderful titles, which include The Real Princess, Babushka, My Daddy is a Pretzel, The Monster Series, and many more.

Children are invited to make a delightful monkey craft or to paint (discounted) animal pottery!

Author visit/storytime is free and open to all; craft best for age 2+ ($4/child).

All welcome to attend.

Reservations appreciated but drop-ins welcome.

Barefoot Books is a passionate publishing company which aims to ignite children's imaginations, and encourage children to explore and respect the planet and other cultures. At their Concord location, across from the train depot, Barefoot Books has their newly opened flagship store and community center. The company was founded in 1992 by two mothers, Tessa Strickland and Nancy Traversy, and operates worldwide in a global community.
