DESCRIPTION:On the second annual Holiday House Tour organized by the Guil
 d of Volunteers of the Concord Museum\, seven of Concord&rsquo\;s most b
 eautiful private homes will be professionally decorated in the holiday s
 pirit by local and Boston-based interior designers. From 11:00-4:00 on S
 aturday\, December 8th\, guests will be welcomed inside the front doors 
 of these gracious private residences to visit the charming ground floor 
 rooms. From Colonial to Victorian to Shingle Style and more\, each house
  will be decorated in a different holiday theme.&nbsp\; The Concord Muse
 um welcomes you to spend the day in Concord\, a small town with a big hi
 story\, and enjoy the elegant streets\, charming caf&eacute\;s\, and sho
 ps.\nParticipating designers for the 2012 Holiday House Tour are Janice 
 Battle of Beyond the Garden\; Dennis Duffy and Brooke Warner of Duffy De
 sign Group\; Jean Hogan Interiors\; Kristin Paton Interiors\; Chad Micha
 el Peters\; Heidi Pribell Interiors\; Stephanie Rossi\, Spazio Rosso Int
 erior Design\; Meghan Shadrick of Meghan&rsquo\;s Inspired Interiors\; S
 haryl Stropkay of LifeStyle Interiors.\nTickets are available in advance
  through December 6th at the Concord Museum or by phone (978) 369-9763\,
  ext. 216. Advance tickets are $40 Concord Museum Members\; $45 Non-Memb
 ers.&nbsp\; $50 Day of Tickets may be purchased on December 8th at the C
 oncord Museum beginning at 11:00.&nbsp\; On the day of the tour\, all ti
 cket holders must pick up their House Tour maps at the Concord Museum on
  Cambridge Turnpike.\nThe Holiday House Tour is coordinated by the Conco
 rd Museum&rsquo\;s Guild of Volunteers.&nbsp\; The Tour is generously sp
 onsored by area businesses including Art&eacute\;&eacute\; Fabrics &amp\

 p\;\nProceeds from the Holiday House Tour benefit the Concord Museum&rsq
 uo\;s education initiatives.&nbsp\; As an educational resource for Conco
 rd and the region and a gateway to Concord&rsquo\;s history\, the Museum
  is open 362 days a year and annually attracts more than 35\,000 visitor
 s from Greater Boston\, as well as from all 50 states and 20 countries. 
 Public programs foster a life-long love of history\, literature\, commun
 ity culture\, and decorative arts.&nbsp\; The Museum&rsquo\;s curriculum
 -based school programs reach 7\,000 schoolchildren from 85 Massachusetts
  communities and 22 states\, and teacher-training workshops are provided
  annually for educators at all levels.
