The Concord Orchestra, conducted by Richard Pittman, presents its annual young artist concert. Cellist Zlatomir Fung, winner of the 2013 Ehlers Young Artist Competition, will perform Variations on a Rococo Theme by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Also on the program is the Leonore Overture No. 3 by Ludwig van Beethoven and the Symphony No. 9 in E-flat Major by Dmitri Shostakovich. Competition runner-up Seho Young will give a pre-concert recital both evenings at 7:15.

The Concord Orchestra performs three regular concerts in the fall, winter and spring, a family concert in December and Pops concerts in May at the Center for the Performing Arts. The orchestra consists of 70 musicians from around the world.
