Children (ages 4+) explore science-themed activities inspired by the popular PBS Kids Go! series FETCH! with Ruff-Ruffman, led by a staff member from The Discovery Museums in Acton.
At Fun with Fables on 5/15, we'll read from The Wise Fool and then create a tool to rescue the moon, which has fallen from the sky, and design a suspension bridge to help a man cross a river! At Shopping with Dad on 5/29, we'll read this fun Barefoot title together and then use materials you could buy while shopping with your Dad, see some chemical reactions and make a fun toy to take home.
Ages 4+. $6 per child ($15 family max.). RSVPs requested to hold your spot.

Barefoot Books is a passionate publishing company which aims to ignite children's imaginations, and encourage children to explore and respect the planet and other cultures. At their Concord location, across from the train depot, Barefoot Books has their newly opened flagship store and community center. Inside is a colorful and bright space, with a story-telling area, reading cubby, window benches and chairs, and a room for crafts, yoga and other community activities.
