"Good Grief" -- Spiritual Bereavement Support at Trinity Episcopal Church
Trinity Episcopal Church, 81 Elm St, Concord, MA | Get Directions »

Losing a loved one to death is one of the most painful experiences we can have. It helps to share that pain with people who understand what you're going through. A support group is an effective way to help the bereaved begin to heal because it offers a safe place for people to do the work of mourning.
Trinity Episcopal Church in Concord, offers a new bereavement support group on Sunday afternoons from 3-4:30 pm, beginning on Sunday, March 4, 2012. This will be a spiritual environment where individuals can share their feelings and experiences in a caring and confidential setting while receiving information about the grief process. Led by Buck Grace and Anne Lynch, the group will meet for five weekly sessions through April 1. This is a free program; please register by February 24.
If interested in joining us, or if you have questions, please contact Anne Lynch at 978-369-3715. This will be a "closed" group after the first session; no additional people will be able to join after the March 4 start date. Participants are expected to make every effort to attend all five sessions.

More About Trinity Episcopal Church
Trinity Episcopal Church, led by Rev. Tony Buquor, was founded in 1884. Sunday services are at 8am in the chapel (no music) and 10am in the main church (full choir and hymns).
Church school for children ages 4 to 14 is conducted at 10am, and a nursery is available for infants and very young children. A coffee hour follows both services.
Once during the year, the church offers a class for people interested in learning more about the Anglican Church and the background and meaning of its worship. The class lasts four weeks and begins after the 10am service.
Trinity offers a wide variety of other activities, including a book group, bike club and outreach programs. A schedule of events is available on its website.
