Tea & Sweets at the Concord Museum
Concord Museum, 53 Cambridge Tpke, Concord, MA | Get Directions »
$20.00
This winter, invite a friend, neighbor or family member to
elegant Brooke Hall at the Concord Museum for a relaxing afternoon of tea and sweets and a visit to the Museum’s renowned history and decorative arts galleries. Sweets provided Trail’s End Café in Concord, which sources many of its ingredients locally, and tea served with the jewel-like, handmade, silken tea infusers and tea accoutrements crafted by Tea Forté of Concord make the experience a memorable one. Combine tea with a visit to the special exhibition, The Greatest Source of Wealth: Agriculture in Concord, to learn more about farming in Concord, past and present. Tea is served Fridays and Saturdays, February 1 through March 30 by advance reservation only, (978) 369-9763, ext. 216. Seatings are 1:30-2:30 and 3:00-4:00; $20/person; includes Museum admission.
Delight your child or grandchild with an afternoon of tea
for just the two of you! Join us for “A Teddy Bear Tea,” served on Friday & Saturday, February 22 and 23. Make the day a special outing by sipping cocoa or tea in the Concord Museum’s Brooke Hall while enjoying sweet treats. Bring a favorite teddy or stuffed animal to join you, then decorate a tiny tea cup for your teddy to take home for your own tea parties. Seatings at 1:30 and 3:00; by advance reservation only, (978) 369-9763, ext. 216.
$20/person; includes Museum admission.
The Concord Museum is easily accessible from Route 495 or Route 128 and Route 2 and is located at the intersection of Lexington Road and Cambridge Turnpike, ¼ mile east of Concord Center. The Museum’s entrance is on Cambridge
