Trinity Forum: Open Table -- Caring for Families & Creating Community
Trinity Episcopal Church, 81 Elm St, Concord, MA | Get Directions »
FREE
Trinity Episcopal Church in Concord invites you to its Sunday morning Adult Forum, Trinity's adult education program, which meets weekly at 9 AM to hear speakers connect us to these topics: word, worship, wonder, world, witness and work, important aspects of our Christian life.
On Sunday, September 30, Trinity’s Social Ministry Commission sponsors this forum on the Open Table (http://opentable.org/), which offers weekly community supper programs and pantries to more than 225 guests, including many children in Concord and Maynard. No questions asked. All are welcome. Founded in 1989, Open Table’s mission is to address hunger and social isolation in our area, while respecting the privacy and dignity of our guests in a welcoming community of support.
Please join Janet Lovejoy, Lisa Richards and Harriet Kaufman and learn about the good spirit being spread right in our own backyards.
Trinity's invited Forum speakers come from many walks of life and have addressed all manner of topics -- serious, mysterious, personal and world-focussed. Among our recent topics are pilgrimage, faith lost and found, histories and Biblical persons, death, dying and grieving, parenting, stewardship, education, and much more.
Childcare begins in Trinity's nursery at 9 AM; Trinity's buildings are fully accessible. For further information on this or other programs at Trinity, please call our Parish Office, 978/369-3715, or visit us online at http://www.trinityconcord.org.

More About Trinity Episcopal Church
Trinity Episcopal Church, led by Rev. Tony Buquor, was founded in 1884. Sunday services are at 8am in the chapel (no music) and 10am in the main church (full choir and hymns).
Church school for children ages 4 to 14 is conducted at 10am, and a nursery is available for infants and very young children. A coffee hour follows both services.
Once during the year, the church offers a class for people interested in learning more about the Anglican Church and the background and meaning of its worship. The class lasts four weeks and begins after the 10am service.
Trinity offers a wide variety of other activities, including a book group, bike club and outreach programs. A schedule of events is available on its website.
