A Listening Session, Water Main Flushing and More on Oct. 9
We've got five things you need to see, do and know on Oct. 9 in Concord.
1. School Committee Listening Session: From 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday morning, the School Committee and superintendent will host a listening session at the Ripley Building.
2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for Oct. 9 include the Tax Relief Committee at 8:30 a.m., the CCHS School Advisory Committee at 6:30 p.m., the Millbrook Tarry Task Force at 7 p.m. and the Public Works Commission at 7:15 p.m.
3. ICYMI: In case you missed it, on Tuesday we shared news that Concord-Carlisle High School was among the state's top scoring school on the spring's SAT tests. If you haven't yet, definitely check it out.
4. Water Main Flushing: Continues Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Click here for a map of affected areas.
5. Sunny and Clear ... Again: Should be mostly sunny today, with a high of 62, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a clear evening with a low of 42.
