A Listening Session, Water Main Flushing and More on Oct. 9

We've got five things you need to see, do and know on Oct. 9 in Concord.

1. School Committee Listening Session: From 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday morning, the School Committee and superintendent will host a listening session at the Ripley Building.

2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for Oct. 9 include the Tax Relief Committee at 8:30 a.m., the CCHS School Advisory Committee at 6:30 p.m., the Millbrook Tarry Task Force at 7 p.m. and the Public Works Commission at 7:15 p.m. 

3. ICYMI: In case you missed it, on Tuesday we shared news that Concord-Carlisle High School was among the state's top scoring school on the spring's SAT tests. If you haven't yet, definitely check it out

4. Water Main FlushingContinues Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Click here for a map of affected areas

5. Sunny and Clear ... Again: Should be mostly sunny today, with a high of 62, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a clear evening with a low of 42.
